The Superior DRL4072 72 Inch Linear Direct Vent Gas Fireplace With Electronic Ignition is designed to make a bold architectural statement while delivering reliable heating performance and contemporary style. With its expansive 72-inch linear configuration, this fireplace creates a dramatic focal point for large living rooms, great rooms, and custom residential spaces. The clean-face design with integrated tile stops allows for a seamless built-in appearance, while reflective black crushed glass media and an optional reflective glass liner enhance the depth and beauty of the flame presentation.
Engineered for convenience and installation flexibility, the Superior DRL4072 features electronic ignition with battery backup, ensuring continued operation during power outages. Available for natural gas operation and field-convertible to propane, this fireplace delivers up to 45,000 BTUs on natural gas and up to 43,000 BTUs on propane. An optional HeatFlo™ kit helps redirect heat away from heat-sensitive wall décor and electronics, making it easier to integrate the fireplace into modern entertainment wall designs. Homeowners can also choose an optional indoor see-through conversion kit to create a unique multi-room viewing experience.
Built with ceramic glass for enhanced heat transfer and a protective screen for added safety, the DRL4072 is designed for long-lasting performance and everyday reliability. Freight & Oversized Deliveries
Certain large or heavy items such as fireplaces, fire pits, mantels, and outdoor heating products are shipped via freight carriers.
Freight deliveries may include:

An adult must be available to receive and inspect freight shipments at the time of delivery.
Additional delivery services such as liftgate service or inside delivery may be available upon request depending on the carrier and delivery location.
Shipment Inspection & Damages
Please inspect all shipments carefully upon delivery.
If your shipment arrives visibly damaged:
- Note the damage with the carrier before signing the delivery receipt
- Take photos of the product and packaging
- Contact us immediately at sales@ridgeflame.com
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment and provide photos of the packaging and damaged item.
Please retain all original packaging materials until the claim is resolved.
We will work directly with the carrier and manufacturer to help resolve shipping damage claims and provide an appropriate solution whenever possible.
Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing tracking information.
Tracking numbers may take 24–48 hours to become active after shipment.
