Designed for exceptional performance and long-lasting durability, this specialized component features a rugged Galvalume steel outer casing that provides dependable rust resistance, paired with a heavy-duty stainless steel inner wall. It is engineered specifically to help you safely route your chimney system around common structural obstructions such as rafters, ridgepoles, or ceiling joists. Its advanced double-wall, insulated design safely contains high-temperature exhaust while rigorously maintaining a cooler outer surface to protect your home's surrounding structural framing.

Engineered for professional hearth contractors and dedicated DIY homeowners, this 30-degree elbow kit (model 8DT-E30K) provides maximum directional flexibility for tricky installations. The base of the elbow conveniently swivels a full 360 degrees to allow for precise directional alignment, while keeping the structural 30-degree angle securely fixed. Remember that a pair of elbows is always required to seamlessly return an offset chimney back to a straight vertical orientation, and UL 103 standards strictly prohibit offsets greater than 30 degrees. Ensure a fast, hassle-free assembly, and always maintain a strictly mandatory 2-inch minimum airspace clearance to all combustible materials. Complete your custom wood stove or fireplace exhaust setup today with this indispensable DuraTech piping component!

Included

2 Elbow (GA)

1 Elbow Strap

Features

Available in stainless steel (5"-8" SS) or galvalume (6"-8" GA) outer wall.

Use for offsets around obstructions such as rafters, ridgepoles, or joists.

May use two pair of elbows, if needed.

Offsets greater than 30° are not permitted in accordance to UL 103 standards.

Elbows swivel 360° at base (angles are not adjustable).

A pair of elbows is required to return an offset chimney back to vertical.

Specifications

Model

8DT-E30K

Series

DuraTech DT (5"-8")

Product Type

Elbow Kit

Outer Finish

Galvalume Steel

Elbow Type

30 Degree

(Size) Inside Diameter

8"

Technical Dimensions

Elbow Offset Chart (For DuraTech 5"-8")

Warranty

Duravent, Inc.
